Worship.Rooted.Rise started as something God placed on my heart several years ago. I realized this year was the year to start and not hold back!

Over the years, I’ve walked through some beautiful seasons of life, but I’ve also walked through some really hard ones. I’ve learned that no matter what season we find ourselves in, when we stay rooted in God, He gives us the strength to keep going, to keep believing, and to rise again.

For years, I have attended women’s conferences and experienced what can happen when women come together to worship, encourage one another, laugh, cry, pray, and simply be reminded that we are not walking through this life alone. Every time I left, I came home encouraged, refreshed, and a little stronger in my faith.

And somewhere along the way, God began putting it on my heart: Why not bring that experience home so more women could receive a blessing as I have over the years!

Why not create a day for the women in our communities?

A day where we can put aside the responsibilities, the stress, the hurt, the busy schedules, and all the things we carry every day and just come together.

A day to worship…..A day to be encouraged.

A day to be reminded who we are and, more importantly, WHO WE BELONG TO!

That is why Worship.Rooted.Rise was created.

This isn't about me, and it isn't about putting on another event. My prayer is that God uses this day to reach the woman who needs encouragement, the woman walking through a valley, the woman who feels tired or alone, and even the woman who is in a wonderful season but simply wants to grow deeper in her relationship with Him.

Our theme this year is OVERCOME, because I truly believe that with God, we can overcome the things life puts in front of us. I've seen Him work in my own life, even during seasons when I couldn't see what He was doing at the time.

If one woman walks through those doors and leaves with more hope than she came with… if one woman realizes she isn't alone… if one woman renews her relationship with God or begins one for the very first time… then every bit of work that went into this will have been worth it.

This is my heart behind Worship.Rooted.Rise.
